Premature loss of the primary second molar can creat mesial drifting of the first molar. This leads to prevent normal eruption of the second premolar. However, this space loss can be regained if treated timely. In this case there was space loss between the lower right first molar and the first premolar because of premature loss of the lower right primary second molar. Treatment objects were determined to move the lower right molar distally and first premolar mesially to guide normal eruption of the lower right second premolar. We had good results with a simple orthodontic appliance-Spit saddle acrylic space regainer. We have observed that space regaining before permanent successor tooth eruption is simple and economic.
